Nursing Infusion Centers of America (NICA) provides high-quality, patient-centered infusion and injection services in a comfortable, accredited outpatient setting. We partner with physicians, nurse practitioners, specialty pharmacies, and care teams to ensure timely access to therapy, seamless coordination of care, and exceptional clinical oversight.

Our referral process is designed to be simple, secure, and efficient—so your patients can begin therapy without unnecessary delays.

Who Can Refer

We Accept Referrals From:

  • Physicians (MD / DO)
  • Nurse Practitioners (NP)
  • Physician Assistants (PA)
  • Specialty Pharmacies
  • Case Managers & Care Coordinators
  • Hospital Discharge Planners

Services We Accept Referrals For

Infusion & Injection Therapies Include (but are not limited to):

  • IVIG (e.g., Gammagard, Octagam, Privigen, Panzyga)
  • Biologics & Monoclonal Antibodies (e.g., Remicade, Rituxan, Tezspire)
  • Osteoporosis & Bone Health (e.g., Prolia, Reclast, Evenity)
  • Lipid Management (e.g., Leqvio)
  • Neurology Therapies (e.g., Leqembi, Kisunla – as clinically appropriate)
  • Immunology, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, and Specialty Therapies
  • Subcutaneous & Intramuscular Injections

How to Submit a Referral

Step 1: Complete the Referral Form

Submit your referral securely using one of the options below.

Step 2: Attach Required Documentation

To avoid delays, please include:

  • Provider order (signed)
  • Recent clinical notes supporting medical necessity
  • Patient demographics & insurance information
  • Prior authorization (if available)
  • Specialty pharmacy information (if applicable)

Step 3: We Handle the Rest

Our clinical and administrative team will:

  • Verify benefits and prior authorization (as applicable)
  • Coordinate with specialty pharmacy
  • Contact the patient to schedule treatment
  • Provide updates to the referring provider
